I have traveled around, lived abroad, experimented with new things, and worked different jobs, some of which never felt mine. I was lost. All of this has opened my eyes, most importantly my heart, and pushed me to dare and explore what truly makes me Happy. Happiness to me is not complete unless I am my authentic self, always following what makes me feel good, as good as when I listen to my favorite music. Discovering my new self, helped me realize that my happiness begins with a mindset that steers my life in a balanced direction that reflects my soul's aspirations.
A while ago, it seemed like I had it all: Post-graduate degrees, a stable job, comfortable living, substantial income, and an active social life. Yet, satisfaction eluded me. I still yearned for that missing layer of fulfillment. And then, one specific project made the whole difference. I was fortunate to work closely with a local community and help plan their vision for a better future. This experience added exponential significance to my life. It made me realize that my happiness stretches beyond the simple equation of working for money. I discovered that making a difference in people's lives brings me profound happiness, so I devoted my life to this purpose ever since.
For the longest time, happiness wasn't something I actively thought about. I was cruising along life's generic path, enjoying the blessings of a loving family and a job that fulfilled my aspirations. I was lucky! At the peak of it all, I discovered the Happy Living philosophy. It was like a light switched on. I realized that I could not keep counting on luck and still expect to find happiness every step of the way. For the first time, I felt in control as I could finally identify what genuinely made me happy. That transformational shift altered my perspective entirely. I discovered my Happy Living balance, and started to place my happiness at the heart of every aspect of my life. And that's why I'm here. Experiencing the profound impact of Happy Living made me want to share this incredible journey with others.
After finishing school, I worked for few years in small offices until I thought I got my big break landing my dream job in a big institution. It had everything I was looking for in a job: the career path, the salary, and great co-workers. Yet I had this unhappy feeling inside me, and I couldn't figure out why. I thought it was the location. So I chased another job in a dream city. As I was getting ready to start my adventure, I still felt hesitant. It finally hit me that there is more to my happiness than a perfect job or a dream location. It's a holistic balance that pulls all my desires in life together; and 'travel' is in the lead.
